360: Our 7 week Haulout at Cardinal, VA
We just are wrapping up a 7 week haul out at Zimmerman Marine in Cardinal VA. After living on 360 for 1-1/2 years we had a list of projects, replace our ablative bottom paint with Coppercoat, put propspeed on our props, replace escape hatch windows, replace salon hatches, replace thru hulls, swap our aluminum cleats for stainless steel….and the list goes on.
Now 7 weeks later we are back in the water but still at the dock doing final checks and lots of cleaning. Next our plans are to explore Chesapeake Bay Area for the next several weeks and then back to Zimmerman to install new davits. Staying north of the Hurricane zone until November, 1 then Bahamas and Caribbean.
