Puerto Rico and our time in Culebra
The trip from Puerto Rico to Culebra only about 20kn miles. We did an over night anchorage at the Island called Isla Palomino so we could do a quick bottom cleaning. The next day, we turn onto the Island of Culebra PR which is part of the Spanish Virgin Islands. We spent six days exploring the Island, beaches and getting to do some snorkeling. It’s a very laid-back island. Still enough tourism to have many restaurants and bars. There are several grocery stores for Provisioning. Several of the snorkeling and dive sites appear to be damaged from the hurricanes in 2017, but we saw many turtles, stingrays, an octopus and even a spotted eagle ray. Weather has been gorgeous while we were here, mid 80’s every day.
