Few special guys

There are several small creatures that we were always on the lookout for while we were underwater in bonaire: frog fish, sea horses and octopus. They are not easy to find as they blend into their surroundings very well. It’s their main defense. We loved spending time looking for these special creatures. This post is about some of those small guys that are easily overlooked until you take some time to hang out in the water look for them.

It’s rare to catch a frog fish on the move, we were pretty lucky to catch this one on video.

This striated frogfish is pretty rare in bonaire, they typically hang out in male/female pairs, larger one is the female.
