Little Grand Cay to Fort Pierce Florida
We stopped at Little Grand Cay for a visa extension. We wanted to travel down to Islands in southern Bahamas. After getting our Visa extensions we started our weather routing and planning. There was going to be no break for at least 2 or 3 weeks in the southerly winds and sailing to that area would be impossible without motoring most of the way. So we decided to go back to Florida and regroup. Hurricane season is upon us!

Common site in Bahamas the piles of discarded conch shells. On these small islands it’s the locals main source of protein. At Rosie’s place the only item on the menu was conch fritters with rice and beans .
