Martinique Adventures

Martinique is in the northern part of the Windward Islands in the Caribbean. It is one of the French West Indies. It has a strong French culture, mostly French speaking and French cuisine.

We have been in Martinique for almost two weeks, hopping down the west coast and exploring the island. Snorkeling has been good and the water has been clear in most of the anchorages. There is a strong of beaches in the south west side of the island that are quite beautiful.

There are many hiking trails that are maintained by the govt, they span a wide variety of landscapes that really showcase the beauty of the island.

We will be in Martinique for the next week or two and then head to Saint Lucia.
