Underwater in Bonaire, a Marine Park playground

We’ve been lucky to be moored in Bonaire since early June, and have really enjoyed spending time underwater. Bonaire has a protected marine park encircling the island which means no fishing, trapping or spearing is allowed. The coral is vibrant in color and full of reef fish, it’s just packed with all kinds of sea life. We have been taking free dive lessons, and practicing so we are can experience the underwater world without tanks. Swimming with a huge bait ball is something that we’ve always wanted to do….!
